CD1 is an 80 minute mix of some of Moving Shadow’s most celebrated releases. Rob Playford spent many hours listening to the label’s previous releases in order to pick just thirty or so to reflect the various sounds and styles that are part of Moving Shadow – not an easy task! Using three tracks from each year (roughly), Rob has managed to spin a seamless tale of the last decade’s Breakbeat and Drum&Bass history.

CD2 is an interactive CD-ROM, compatible with both MACs and PCs. It features a comprehensive history of the label, from the very first release right through to the present date, as well as interviews with some of the label’s main artists, including (amongst others) the E-Z Rollers and Dom & Roland. Also included on the CD-ROM is a fully searchable database of Moving Shadow’s entire back catalogue (one for the collectors), a sleeve artwork section, the entire Moving Shadow merchandise range and much, much more.
